Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy defines the rules of collecting, processing and protection of personal data obtained from Clients purchasing and using services provided by EuropeID, with its registered office address at Odin Havnepark, Lumbyvej 11C, DK-5000 Odense, Denmark, entered into the Danish Registry of Companies under number DK26988934, hereinafter called EuropeID.

For this Privacy Policy, “Client” means any natural person purchasing and using our services whose personal data is collected and processed by EuropeID.

“Regulation” refers to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

By using our services and accessing our website you (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any entity or person on whose behalf you are acting) explicitly agree to this Privacy Policy and you hereby consent to the following rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to collecting and processing of personal data.

Personal Data

EuropeID, with its registered office address at Odin Havnepark, Lumbyvej 11C, DK-5000 Odense, Denmark, entered into the Danish Registry of Companies under number DK26988934, informs that EuropeID is the administrator of personal data provided by the Client in connection with or during the use of services provided by EuropeID. Personal data is processed pursuant to the Regulation, and in cases required thereunder, with consent from the Client.

EuropeID collects only the data that is necessary to conclude an agreement and to provide the services ordered by the Client, to provide support, information regarding its services and marketing them.

Personal information we may collect includes:

  • name and last name
  • address
  • email address
  • phone number
  • payment information
  • gender
  • telephone and fax number
  • social security/ID number
  • passport,driver license and other ID document data

In the cases required by the provisions of the Regulation, the Client consents to collecting and processing of their personal data with the purpose to enable purchase and use of EuropeID’ services. The Client may revoke their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

It is voluntary to provide the information marked as required, however doing so is necessary to conclude the agreement and for EuropeID to provide services and enable communication with Client. If the Client does not provide the required personal data and does not consent to collecting and processing of personal data, it will not be possible to register an account in our system or to conclude a contract and provide services for the Client.

The grounds for EuropeID to process personal data provided is the need to perform contractual obligations towards its Clients and, at the Client’s request, to take the necessary actions prior to entering into an agreement with the Client (art. 6 par. 1 point b) of the Regulation). For the marketing of our own services and EuropeID’ sending information on our offer to the e-mail address provided by the Client, the ground for processing of Client’s personal data is the pursuance of the legitimate interest of EuropeID (art. 6 par. 1 point f) of the Regulation). EuropeID processes data to provide information about their products and services and thereby makes it possible to send information about the current offer to the Client. In the case of providing a Newsletter service, the ground for processing of data is Client’s consent (art. 6 par. 1 point b) of the Regulation), which the Client may revoke at any time.

Client’s personal data will be stored in a form allowing for identification of the Client for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are collected and lawfully processed. Therefore, personal data will be stored for the period necessary to perform the contract and to provide the service chosen by the Client. After that time, data will be processed for the period necessary to resolve any potential disputes that may arise in connection with the services being provided, e.g. relating to claims (the period shall include the period of limitation of claims under the contract, in accordance with the provisions in force).

Disclosure of personal information

Your Personal Information may be disclosed to third parties only in the ways described in this Privacy Statement:

  • to our affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement.
  • to our service providers, who provide services such as domain registration,payment processing, domain purchases and sales, order fulfilment, customer service, website hosting, data analysis, infrastructure provision, IT services, email delivery services, auditing services and other similar services to enable them to provide services;
  • to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings). Any prospective purchasers or new owners will be similarly bound by this Privacy Statement.

Further, personal data can be disclosed to third parties:

  • under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence;
  • to comply with legal process;
  • to respond to requests from government authorities and other parties with legitimate interests, including law enforcement and government authorities outside your country of residence, and
  • to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
  • to enforce our terms and conditions;
  • to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates;
  • to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others;
  • to allow EuropeID to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

Personal Information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). EuropeID will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Client has the right to access their personal data and the right to demand that the personal data be supplemented, updated, transferred, their processing be limited, rectified, temporarily or permanently withheld from processing or deleted when data is incomplete, outdated, untrue or has been collected in breach of the law or if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

In case of processing the Client’s data for the purpose of marketing a service and own products, the Client may at any time make a written and justified request not to process their data because of their particular situation or to object to the processing of their data for that purpose.

EuropeID makes it possible for the Client to delete their personal data from the data set at Client’s request or pursuant to the Regulation.

EuropeID may refuse to delete personal data if the Client violated the Terms & Conditions or other legal provisions in force, and it is necessary to retain the personal data in order to explain the circumstances of the breach and determine the Client’s liability.

If the Client enters any personal data of other people, they are allowed to do so only under condition that applicable laws are not infringed and people whose data is entered agreed to the use of their personal information and their rights are not violated.

Use of Cookies

EuropeID and our partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyse trends, administer our websites, track Clients’ movements around the website, and to gather information about our Client base as a whole.

We use cookies on our websites to:

  • improve your experience on our websites
  • maintain items in your shopping cart
  • understand your usage of our websites
  • help identify you and maintain your signed-in status

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. Minors

EuropeID services are not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact our Support Team.

Other data

In some cases, EuropeID automatically collects certain types of information when the Client visits our websites and use our services. Such operational data related to the use of the website (IP address, domain name, web beacons) are stored in aggregated and anonymized form. These data are used to better understand and to streamline the operation, functionality, and performance of the Website and generate statistics supporting the administration of the Website.

Data protective measures

Client’s personal data is secured against being made available to unauthorized persons, being taken over by an unauthorized person, processed in breach of the applicable provisions and modified, lost, damaged or destroyed. This is achieved by taking technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data processed is protected in a way, which is appropriate to the risks and categories of data being protected.

Client may at any time contact EuropeID to obtain information on whether and how EuropeID uses or intends to use their personal information and to report any events affecting the security of information and its transfer, and also to revoke the Client’s consent to collecting and processing of personal information. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time without notice to you. Any such changes or modification shall be effective immediately upon sending you notice of such changes by email at the email address listed in your Account
